She Said "YES"!!!!

So I had a blast shooting an amazing couple this past Saturday. Cassie, the girlfriend was super excited to have photographs taken of her & her boyfriend Ben. Little did she know, Ben had a little secret up his sleeve. Even I didn't know what was coming! Throughout the shoot Ben seemed pretty quiet, letting Cassie take the lead. However looking back, it was definitely nerves building up. As the shoot was about to wrap up, Ben took Cassie's hand & asked her to close her eyes. He dropped down on one knee & as she opened her eyes he popped the question. She said YES! I think I was in as much shock as her! However I did manage to switch over to my video mode just in time to catch her reaction. PRICELESS!! It's times like these that truly remind me of why I love my career. I get to share the most precious moments in peoples lives. Check out the video from their shoot!! =)

Happy Birthday America!!

I hope everyone is having a fun & SAFE July 4th! My family decided to celebrate yesterday at my mothers house. It is always nice to get together with everyone since we are all so busy! My niece, who just turned 2, even did some modeling for me yesterday. I think that she's finally come to terms that she will have a camera in her face at almost every encounter with me :) Lucky for me she has not only happily participated but she even came with some pretty cute poses--well I do owe some of the credit to my nephew, who was kind enough to pose & make her laugh during the process..Thanks Xavier! :)

Maternity Photography

So I recently simplified my website, narrowing it down to my two main galleries, boudoir & weddings. I must admit that I was quite sad to take down my maternity photographs. For now I am trying to focus my talent towards very specific imagery but I do not want to give up maternity. Soooo, what better place to put some of my images than here!

On the boudoir side of things, I had an amazing turnout for my boudoir special session two weekends ago. Everyone seemed to have a great time & the images came out amazing!! It really makes me feel good to show these women the beauty within themselves. So many of us get stuck in these false standards of beauty & for many women it's hard to get past. EVERY single lady that I shot this weekend truly turned into a supermodel & I am glad that they got to see it in their photographs! :)

ATTENTION LADIES!!

On June 17-18th I will be holding a sample photo session at my new boudoir studio from 12-6. This is a hugely discounted session for the first 10 women to respond. It is $50 per girl. After your shoot, your images will be posted in a password protected gallery where you will be able to choose an 8x10 print & two internet friendly files. A $25 deposit is required to hold your spot. My New Adventure

It's finally happening, my long awaited dream come true. My very own STUDIO! I am so excited to say that my hard work has finally paid off & has allowed me a studio to call my very own. I will now be booking appointments in an actual business building rather than my living room or school's studio! The studio is located in Melbourne & is now super easy to get to with the new Pineda exit open. I am currently basing my style on boudoir photography & booking both solo & group photoshoots. I feel that there are sooo many photographers in my area but have found that few really focus on the beauty of women. I believe that every woman needs a fabulous photograph of herself. I've attached some of my recent photoshoots. Now as you know boudoir photography is very private & intimate, so all of these models have signed releases giving permission to show off their supermodel images.

I have many different setups available & can create any concept that a client may have. So if you are hosting a bachelorette party for a girlfriend, your a bride-to-be, a military wife, or just want to become a supermodel for a day, come try it out! I can't deny that I LOVE the rain & unlike others I was actually super excited to see the tropical storm/depression headed our way. I had a commissioned photo shoot all planned out with a friend & almost thought we'd have to scrub the day..It took a couple episodes of America's Next Top Model to give me inspiration again & convince her to make the long haul out to my place (in the middle of nowhere.) In the end it was a success! The majority of the photo shoot was inside, using whatever props we could get our hands on. You'd be surprised at what you can create with 10 scarves & 4 tutus. We even ended up getting a really beautiful red tinted sunset photo just before the sun went down. I am really hoping for more days like this!

Other than the shoot I worked on my website, added new pictures, & created a "kids" portfolio, because I've been adventuring into children photography lately. I already have a few baby photo shoots scheduled for October so I am excited to really challenge my skills..
